Reid Suitor is a 2006 RHP from Torrey Pines HS in San Diego, CA, with a 6'3", 190 lb. frame. Suitor was named to the Top Prospect Team and was one of the best pitchers at the event. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a slow and easy delivery. He has good arm speed with a long and loose arm, and works quickly with a good tempo. Suitor was in complete control during his outing. His fastball topped out at 85 mph with good life and he hit his spots. As good as his fastball was, his slider and split finger were better. He gets great life on everything he throws and his slider was nasty at 77 mph with late, sharp break. His split was just as nasty with plus movement and sink. Suitor throws with little to no effort and has projectable velocity, but he can get people out at the next level with his current stuff. He threw three perfect innings at the event with 5 strikeouts. Suitor is a must follow, and is a good student as well.
