Cole Irvin is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Servite HS. Classic projectable pitcher's build, narrow hips, sloped shoulders, loose actions. Well paced leg raise delivery, compact arm in back, good extension out front. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, consistent late fastball life, throws his fastball to spots with intent. Potential plus curveball with more power, tight spin with bite and good depth. Very advanced change up, plus life at times, big fading action. Has all the pitches now and the ability to throw them where he wants with life, just waiting for the strength to kick in. Showed some ability with the bat, quick hands, smooth balanced swing, squared the ball up well. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon.

Cole Irvin is a 2012 LHP/ with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Servite. Irvin has a lean athletic build, loose arm that works well, really projects, fastball has good life, more velo to come, showed a nice change, curveball was a little loose but showed potential, very high ceiling LHP that needs to be watched very closely.
