Dusty McClain is a 2012 RHP/2B/3B with a 6-1, 135 lb. frame from Auburndale, FL who attends Tenoroc HS. Good pitcher's build, lean and athletic with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Low 3/4 arm slot on the mound, long and easy arm action, nice three-pitch mix, armside run and cutting action on fastball, sharp 11-5 curveball, good sinking action on change-up, keeps hitters off balance, around the plate. Line-drive hitting approach, stays inside the ball some, good opposite field contact, will improve with slight adjustments in approach. Clean infield actions, 2B tools.
