Gorman is a lean switch-hitting middle infielder with good overall body strength. We definitely like his swing better left handed. Gorman has much better bat speed from that side of the plate, quicker hips and a more level swing. He had a few nice hits against top line, live pitching. Gorman ran a 7.1 - 60, but has even quicker actions in the infield and looks like a hustle type player who maximizes his speed potential. Gorman’s arm strength plays at SS, but he might best project to second base and his hands and balance are fine for that position at the next level. Good all-round player with a good future. Richard is a very good student.
