Shane Crouse is a 2012 RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Ocoee, FL who attends West Orange HS. Medium athletic build, room to add some strength. Full hands over head delivery, slow pace, accelerates hard to the plate. Steady 86-88 mph fastball, mostly straight. Confidence in change up, lowers slot and creates sinking life, likes throwing change to left handed hitters. Slurve type breaking ball, good sweeping depth at times, could add more power. Works around the strike zone, has an idea. Has been up to 90 mph in the past. Verbal commitment to Miami.
