Nick Wise is a 2014 1B/OF, LHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Alexander. He has an extra large frame with a strong build and good actions defensively. Is a big target to throw to at first base which helps the fielders, has good footwork around the bag with a smooth glove and soft hands. Has a quick release with an accurate arm that has carry and works well. He has a sound approach at the plate with power potential and does a good job of squaring the ball up. He has good bat speed with a good swing path, the ball jumps off his bat, showing off his power in BP with 3 Home Runs. Has a leg raise delivery throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. He mixes his pitches well throwing his curveball for strikes with late bite, and maintains his arm speed on his changeup.
