Jonathan Ducoff is a 2014 SS/OF with a 6-1 194 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood Park HS. Medium frame, lean athletic build, good present strength. Generates good bat speed with a relatively short and direct swing path. Good raw power, present home run threat with good strength at contact. Calm in-game approach, lacks flow at start of swing, leading to late swings, makes up for it with catch up bat speed but power doesn't play as frequently in games as a result. High level hitting tools and a couple of adjustments away from being able to consistently utilize them in game situations. Plus arm strength, plenty of arm strength for third base should he move there. Sound infield fundamentals, quick compact actions, moves well for his size, hands work. Solid or better tools across the board. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Baylor.
