Spencer McClure is a 2012 SS/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Fort Smith, AR who attends Fort Smith Southside HS. Tall lanky build, good projection. 7.46 runner, soft hands, good balance at the ball, quick release, will need to improve quickness, possible 3B future. Tall hitting stance, high hands, short to the ball, extended finish, mostly opposite field contact, will benefit from more strength. Nice easy delivery on the mound, arm works smoothly, throws both knuckle CB and slider, slider shows potential, varies speed on CB, good feel for pitching, fastball steady at 82-83, loose arm, may project better as RHP than as a position player.
