Blake Harrell is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Centennial HS. Slender build, developing strength. Leg raise delivery, drifting side arm release point, compact arm action, hides ball, severe cross body at times, deceptive for young hitters. Fastball 76-78 mph, has nice sink down low, throws soft slider from standard 3/4's release point, needs consistent release point for both pitches, occasional change up, works effectively down in zone, throws strikes. Inside out swing at the plate, opposite field contact, handles the barrel well. Excellent student.
