Clinton Hollon is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Woodford County HS. Very solid well proportioned athletic build, has got stronger in the last six months. Fast paced side step delivery, pretty busy with a big slide across the rubber, will get cross body at times, not consistent with his front side and will spin off, clean and fast arm action, deep arm circle, compact 3/4's arm slot. Low 90's fastball, had 93-94 mph whenever he wanted it, very good running life at times, can throw to both sides of the plate. Power curveball with very good depth at times, release is most inconsistent on curveball at present. Nice feel for change up, good cutting action. Mixed his pitches well and showed confidence in each. Nice early season outing for a top prospect, arm strength and secondary pitches were there and he looked healthy and strong. Signed with Kentucky.

Fast paced delivery with leg kick, quick arm that works really well, 3/4's arm slot. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 94 mph, some late arm side running action. Off speed stuff has really developed, throws both curveball and slider, flashes quality on both at times, nice change up with arm speed and good location down in zone, beginning to get feel for mixing/changing speeds. Next step is throwing to spots instead of the middle of the plate. Impressed with overall improvement. Verbal commitment to Kentucky

Rotational delivery, extended high 3/4's arm slot, arm works easy, low effort release, throws downhill, tends to straighten up on release. Fastball topped at 91 mph, changes velo and movement on fastball,primary fastball pitcher, rare curveball and change, curveball flashed hard spin and bite, needs to mix it up more. Has been up to 96 mph at WWBA events in the month since, consider this outing an exception. 7.28 runner, shows his arm strength from the outfield. Long right handed swing, occasional strength, raw swing mechanics. Verbal commitment to Kentucky.
