Erik Lanzner is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Princeton, NJ who attends Montgomery. Lean athletic build, room to fill out and add strength. OH arm slot on the mound, short loose arm action, good armside run on fastball, around the plate, makes hitters put the ball in play, tight 11-5 curveball, curveball has very good late life. Short simple swing, good bat speed, squares the ball up well, turns on the inside pitch well, has good offensive tools to work with. Athletic actions at first base, good footwork. Solid student.
