James Powell is a 2013 1B/RHP, C, 3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Madison, CT who attends Daniel Hand. Powell has a slender body. He hits from an even and upright stance at the plate, good load, rotational swing, limited lower half in swing, contact approach. Also pitched, 3/4 release point, long arm action, arm works, good extension to the plate, developing strength. He is a very good student.
