2010 Northwest Top Prospect Showcase
Christian Jarnagin is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Mill Creek, WA who attends Glacier Peak. Jarnagin is a young player with an excellent build; tall and lean with very good projection. Very raw on the mound with some mechanical issues to iron out, but has a very good overall tool set to work with and develop. Good arm speed, and was a pleasant surprise. We will be very anxious to see him down the road as he continues to polish his mechanics. As a firstbaseman, he makes plays and positions himself well. Offensively he has a rotational swing, loads deep, line drive swing plane with slight uppercut at times, wants to lift the ball. Good follow, look forward to seeing him again. Good student.
