He has a wide base at the plate, hand hitch, smooth upper half mechanics with nice batspeed, loose swing, solid lower half, aggressive game approach, hit HR to tight off 88 fastball. Solid actions at 3B, good glove, solid arm, throws from all angles. Also pitched, 3/4 release, long arm angles, online, good mechanics, 11/5 curve with bite. He is a very good student.

Shane Crawford is a 2012 3B/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Leander HS. Medium frame, strong lower half, catcher's build. 7.48 runner, good carry to his throws, soft hands and a quick release, tends to field a bit deep, solid tools for third base. Right handed hitter, spread stance, hand hitch load, short quick swing with a slight upper cut, generates bat speed and shows his strength, ball jumps well on contact, shows gap to gap power. Also pitched, full arm action, loose quick arm, hard front side in delivery, effort finish. Fastball to 84 mph, good arm side run. Throws both curveball and slider, tight CB spin with good bite, some tilt and bite to slider, nice change up with late sink and run. Four solid pitches and can improve with delivery adjustments. Very good student.
