Joseph Jae Roberts is a 2013 OF/3B with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Columbia, SC who attends Hammond HS. Compact very strong build. 6.88 runner, athletic outfield actions, accurate on line throws, solid left field tools. Right handed hitter, very aggressive swing, spin hitter who pulls off front side early, long uppercut swing, generates very good raw bat speed, flashes power, ball jumps well, will have to tone down game approach to develop, has lots of raw hitting tools. Good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
