Devon Woodward is a 2014 1B/OF with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from New Port Richey, FL who attends River Ridge HS. Tall and large build, very good strength potential. Right handed hitter, high hand start, back side hitter who is looking to lean and lift, long upper cut swing plane, front side comes off early, has the strength to drive the ball but needs to work though contact more directionally to use it consistently. 7.31 runner, shows good footwork around the first base bag, soft hands, also plays the outfield. Good student.
