Jacob Pauley is a 2012 3B/MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA who attends Valley HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, spread bent knee stance, no stride, keeps hands tight, limited load, short to the ball, hits inside, tends to collapse back side, opposite field contact, hands to hit but will need approach adjustments. 7.24 runner, moves well defensively, sound footwork, clean exchange and quick release, throws have some carry, solid all around defense. Good student.
