Kody Thompson is a 2012 OF/C, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Barbers Hill. Thompson has a strong, athletic body. He has a slightly open stance at the plate, good setup, quiet approach, balanced swing, solid batspeed, stays on ball well, timing can be an issue but good pop when it's right. He has a good arm in the outfield, smooth to ball, also is athletic at 3B and has a good transfer and release behind the plate. He is a good student.
