Dan Volpacchio is a 2012 MIF/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Far Hills, NJ who attends Ridge. Solid athlete with room to fill out. Middle infielder who stays back and fields the ball cleanly with smooth hands. Long, extended arm action with average arm strength. Showed solid athleticism charging balls. Profiles at 2B or SS. Slightly open stance at the plate. High back elbow start. Roatational swing with short extension. Line drive, opposite field approach. Showed some strength in swing. Good student.
