Taylor Hearn is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Royse City, TX who attends Royse City HS. Extremely long arms and legs, very projectable build, room to fill out. Back turn delivery, long extended arm action, extended high 3/4's release point, arm works well coming through. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, good arm side run and sink. Tends to cast it with soft spin. Classic projection, should keep improving with strength and instruction. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
