Matthew Hasenbeck is a 2012 RHP with a 6-5 240 lb. frame from Eureka, MO who attends Eureka Sr.. Strong physical presence with thick lower half. Simple clean delivery with a high 3/4 arm slot from a long loose arm action. Very minimal effort in delivery. Showed advanced pitch-ability mixing in three pitches for strikes. Fastball was up to 92 with sinking life and sat comfortably in the 90-92 range through out his outing. Slider had sharp break with good tilt and change up had good late dive at plate. Pounded the bottom of the strike zone to both his arm and glove side with his fastball. Attended Union College (Kentucky) last year. Named to the Top Prospect List.
