Scott Adkins is a 2013 C/1B/OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Bob Jones HS. Very strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, upright open stance, calm approach with limited load, could get to front side better, very strong hands, short quick swing with plus bat speed, hard pull contact, mostly line drive but shows lift as well, fluid out front, has high level hitting tools. 7.12 runner, receives ball cleanly behind the plate, slow piece by piece actions, arm strength below average, 2.07 best pop time. Bat is a potential huge tool. Follow closely. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
