Benjamin Urra is a 2014 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Monsignor Edward Pace HS. Medium lean frame with some room to fill out. As an infielder he showed good fielding actions with playable arm strength, graded out higher as a pitcher. As a right handed pitcher he pitched from an over the top arm slot with long arm action and good extension. He showed good balance in his delivery, works fasts, showed a good fastball with a good curveball that had 12/6 breaking action. As a right handed hitter, he hit from a slightly open stance with a high handset with good bat speed and leverage in his swing and a line drive approach. Excellent Student.
