Reilly is an interesting outfielder who showed us speed and a good left-handed bat. He ran a 6.60 in the 60 on our laser and ran well from home to first also. He showed good footwork in the outfield, covered ground fast and threw adequately at 77 mph. His swing was productive and he showed good opposite field ability. His bat-speed was not above average but he had no trouble turning on a good 86 mph fastball with wood for a single. He took the mound and threw with 77-81 mph velocity and a 69 mph curve. He was reaching back for the top velocity and might have sacrificed his control in that respect. We liked the way he stayed inside the ball and think he has a good upside. Good student.
