Andrew Stroud is a 2013 OF/ with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Leesburg, GA who attends Lee County HS. Large athletic frame with room to fill, strong build. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot from the outfield, has a long arm action, good actions, good arm strength. Starts out with a high hand set at the plate, good approach, good balance, quick load, quick hands, short to the ball, gap to gap hitter with pop, has leverage in swing. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound, long arm action, fastball has arm side run and sink to it, curveball has 11-5 break to it. Has good all-around speed. Is an interesting prospect to follow and is a good student.
