Burgmeier is a senior infielder from Wisconsin with a stocky strong 5-11, 205 lb body. He ran the 60 in 7.56 and threw 73 mph in infield drills. His arm strength would improve with more flow through the ball, as Burgmeier throws off his back foot now. He projects to third base, although he did handle shortstop well during the showcase games. Burgmeier has a pull approach at the plate with a hand hitch timing mechanism to start his swing. He has some bat speed and gets extended out front when he stays directional to the pitcher. Burgmeier is a good student.
