Shane Hennessy is a 2005 right handed pitcher from San Jose, California, with a good large frame and lean build. He has a well proportioned body with long arms and legs, and lots of room to get bigger and stronger. Hennessy hits from an average base, and strides toward contact, occasionally really turning on inside pitches. On the mound, he throws from a low 3/4 arm angle that occasionally will drop it down to side arm. He is tough against right handed hitters when he drops down, with good action on his fastball. Hennessy is a good groundball type pitcher that could survive on his fastball alone. He is a players to watch in the future with lots of upside. Shane is tall, lean and athletic.
