Kyle Gausman is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-1 183 lb. frame from Andover, MN who attends Andover. Tall, lean build with lots of room to fill out. Pitches from high 3/4 slot. Quick worker who throws a lot of strikes. Quick tempo delivery with good balance and short arm action. Knows how to pitch and has good deception. Sat high 70s with his fastball, good arm action on changeup at 68, and 111/5 break on a 62 mph rolling curveball. Short arm action from 1B with average fielding tools. Left-handed bat with a smooth swing and middle of the field contact. Good student.
