Gabriel Cotto is a 2014 C/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy/HS. Medium, very strong frame and looks the part behind the plate. Ran 7.46 60 yard dash. Shows outstanding arm strength from behind the plate, posted a 1.89 pop time. Stays balanced and throws carry well. Consistently accurate and has a short catcher's arm action. Also showed his arm plays from the outfield. Bats from both sides, has a solid approach from each. Gets good extension and has nice, quiet hands to start. Knows how to use the opposite field and uses lower half well. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
