Steven Gomez is a 2013 MIF/C with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Colegio Lourdes HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. 6.96 runner, smooth infield actions, stays balanced and under control, over the top arm action with some arm strength, can work through the ball a bit more quickly, polished overall in the infield. Also catches, has some potential with more repetitions, has quick hands, makes accurate throws, 2.00 best pop time. Right handed hitter, has some length to ball but simple swing mechanics and path, creates some bat speed, looks to pull and has some lift, strong at contact with whippy bat speed, stays balanced, hitting tools to improve.
