Jonathen Burkett is a 2016 3B/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Sanford, FL who attends Lake Mary. Medium, athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.11 60 yard dash. Makes accurate throws on the infield and shows easy, sound defensive actions. Arm strength is there and should be more on the way. Has a short, quick release and a clean transfer. Bats right-handed, works from a quiet setup and uses his hands well in his swing. Will improvement with more lower half use. Barrels stays through the zone consistently and makes solid, line drive contact. Shows quick hands on the inner half. Good student.
