Daniel Brennan is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Las Cruces, NM who attends Onate HS. Large athletic frame, present strength with more to come. Tall well paced delivery, works downhill, high 3/4's arm slot, long clean arm circle, good extension out front. Fastball to 78 mph, works down in zone, good fastball life with consistent run and sink. inconsistent staying on top, tends to flatten out. More velocity in his arm. Right handed hitter, low hand start, tends to step out and swing up to the ball, solid contact when he stays on top, has the strength to improve as a hitter. Good first base actions, showed range and footwork, throws from much lower arm slot in field. Good student.
