Aaron Pinto is a 2014 RHP/OF/IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from West Covina, CA who attends St Paul HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Simple back turn delivery, stays on line and balanced, low effort and repeatable, 3/4's arm slot, quick compact arm action. Mid-80's fastball, has been upper 80's at WWBA events in relief, mostly straight but thrown to spots. Low 70's curveball shows good spin and bite, has 10/4 sweeping depth. Nice change up when maintaining arm slot with movement and location, tends to drop release point on change. Mixes it up and has pitchability and gets outs. Right handed hitter, open spread stance, long rotational swing, gets the ball in the air and has some strength. Third base actions defensively, has soft hands and good carry on his throws, sound actions, also plays outfield, versatile athlete.
