2003 Southeast Top Prospect Showcase
Ozga is a quality athlete with a good balance of baseball tools across the board. At 6'1/195, He’s well developed physically for a junior, but still has room to get stronger in the future. Ozga is a switch-hitter and we really like his swing from the left side. He hits from a spread stance with good balance and quiet hands and generates good bat speed through the zone. From the right side he doesn't look quite as good. He lacks the same type of balance and rhythm, but this probably is just a lack of repetitions, since it appears he’s trying to follow the same approach. Defensively, Ozga should develop into a very fine third baseman. His arm is close to average right now and it works effortlessly. In fact, we were a little bit surprised when Ozga “only” touched 81 mph off the mound, although it was late on the last day of the Showcase and he was undoubtedly a bit tired. Good "05" Travis is a very good student as well.
