John "Jack" Myers is a 2014 OF/RHP, SS, 3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Crystal Lake, IL who attends Prairie Ridge. Myers has a medium sized frame with an athletic build. Defensively he has good footwork in the outfield and has athletic actions. He has good outfield actions and plays through the ball well. He has arm strength up to 84 MPH with carry on the ball. Myers also showed solid actions and footwork on the infield. He has good transfers and release and can throw from all angles on the infield. At the plate, Myers starts his swing with a knee lift load and swings on a line drive path. He has a strong base and showed good hand strength at contact. Myers has quick hands to the baseball and showed some bat speed. Myers has some pop with some power potential. He has good hitting tools to improve with. He also pitched and uses drop and drive mechanics and throws a sweeping slider. Named to Top Prospect Team.
