Colan Borchers is a 2014 RHP/ with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Le Mars, IA who attends Le Mars. Borchers has a large frame with a lean projectable build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a shorter arm action. His arm works well and the ball comes out well. Borchers works downhill well and uses a high leg lift. He maintains balance through his delivery and throws strikes. Borchers pitches to both sides of the plate effectively and throws his breaking ball for strikes. He throws an 11/5 curveball with some sweeping action to it. Borchers is a ground ball pitcher with more velocity in there. Western Illinois commit also named to Top Prospect Team.
