Dilbeck is a 5-11 left handed hitting third baseman from Georgia with a medium athletic frame. He ran the 60 in 7.74 and threw 76 mph during infield drills. Dilbeck likes laying back on the ball and shows good hands and a good base defensively. At the plate, Dilbeck has good hand strength with a leg lift trigger and a short, quick swing. He had one of the best games you’ll see at a showcase when he hit 2 doubles and a triple while wearing out the right field corner and right field wall. Dilbeck likes to pull the ball and can with authority, although he’ll get himself in trouble when he reaches for outside pitches and tries to pull them. He’s a good overall hitter who should keep getting better as he gets stronger. Dilbeck is a very good student as well.
