Vinny Losorelli is a 2006 first baseman and left handed pitcher from Glendora, California who attends Glendora High School. He has a 6'3" frame and strong mature 215 pound build. He ran a 8.51 60 and threw across the diamond at 70 mph. Vinny shows good awareness and mobility at first base and some quality raw power to project him to be a left handed impact bat. He is a middle of the line up bat with present strength and the ability to drive the ball to any field with authority. On the mound, he shows the ability to change speeds well and mixed pitches up well. He will occasionally freeze hitters with change up that is very crafty. Losorelli has a compact arm action with some arm speed out front. He is a crafty lefty with a good feel for the change up and the strike zone. He will compete and do well in the upcoming season and has the chance to play at the next level. Vinny is an exceptional student with a 4.02 gpa and a 28 on his ACT.
