2013 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Matthew Marchese is a 2015 C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from New City, NY who attends Clarkstown North HS. Medium, lean build and has room to get stronger. Ran a 7.57 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from an open stance and carries his hands high. Needs better balance at the plate. Slashes the ball to all fields and shows a sound approach. Arm strength is still developing from behind the plate, but shows a quick transition and solid receiving skills. Excellent student.
