Stephen Schwartz is a 2014 LHP with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Fairfield, CT who attends Fairfield Prep. Medium build pitcher with present strength. Pitches from low 3/4 slot with slinging arm action. Balanced delivery, gets natural arm side run from low slot. Loose arm, long in back. Stays tall on backside. Online delivery. Mostly fastballs, also threw sweeping 2/7 curveball. As a first baseman, side arm slot on throws, gets in front of balls, throws have natural tail. Right handed hitter, out on front foot during swing. Lots of arms and upper half in swing. Will benefit from better use of lower half. Strength in swing with pull approach.
