Jude Kurych is a 2014 1B/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Middletown, DE who attends Appoquinimink. Medium, thin frame with some lower half strength. Ran a 7.19 60 yard dash. Flashes solid defensive actions, arm strength is still developing. Good actions around first base, makes the plays consistently. Left-handed batter, works out of a wide stance, and has a gap to gap approach. Has good at-bats, fights off tough pitches and rarely expands the zone. Gets long at times. Knows how to use the whole field and hits line drives. Outstanding student.
