Stone is a 2005 LHP/OF from Darien, CT with a lean 6'1"/180 pound frame. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a controlled delivery and solid mechanics. He showed good ability to work down in the zone. His fastball topped out at 79 mph with good running action. His 1-7 CB was 64 mph and had a sharp bite at times. He also showed a 71 mph change-up with good sink that he had a good feel for. He threw 78 mph from the outfield with good accuracy. He has a nice compact swing and showed good line drive ability. He makes solid contact and has good bat control. Zachary is an excellent student.
