Seton Bentz is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lincoln HS. Medium athletic build, beginnings of some present strength. Right handed hitter, big hand and barrel hitch to start his swing, difficult timer, has some hand strength and the ball comes off his barrel well, line drive contact, shows patience at the plate and didn't expand the strike zone, has some hitting tools to develop with pre-swing adjustments. 6.88 runner, shows good speed and base running instincts. Young actions in the outfield, tends to stop at the ball, loose arm and developing arm strength. Also pitched, over the top arm slot, arm works well coming through. Fastball topped at 78 mph, showed both arm side run and glove side cutting action. Curveball was his out pitch, commanded it very well with nice depth at times.
