James Carr is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Lake HS. Nice athletic body, projects very well. Primary pitcher but graded out much higher as a position player this outing. 7.45 runner, very good arm strength from the outfield, moves well to the ball, long loose arm action with plus carry. Right handed hitter, tall stance, looks to get hands extended, consistent hard game contact, best contact pulling, projects both as a hitter and as a right fielder. Arm action/strength did not translate to the mound, catapult delivery, falls off to the first base side, effort at release. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, soft sweeping curveball. Graded out as a primary outfielder. Good student.
