Andrew Smith is a 2014 2B/SS with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Wayne, PA who attends Conestoga. Medium, solid, athletic build with present strength. Ran a 5.27 40 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from an upright stance and takes an aggressive swing. Makes consistent, loud contact and focuses on staying in the middle of the field. Gets off balanced and on front foot at times but shows barrel accuracy. Stays inside the ball well. Shows a long arm circle on the infield but above average present arm strength. Throws downhill and is consistently accurate. Moves fluidly to the ball. Excellent student.
