Patrick Lowe is a 2007 RHP/1B/3B from Lemon Bay HS in Port Charlotte, FL, with a 6'3", 195 lb. frame. He has good present strength and good maturity for his age. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an easy and effortless delivery and a clean arm action. His arm is nice and loose with little effort. His fastball topped out at 79 mph, but it looks like there is plenty more in his arm. He spots his fastball well and works the ball in an out. Lowe also mixes in a 12 to 6 curveball with good rotation at 70 mph, and shows feel for his changeup, but their isn't much variance in speed from his fastball. He has pitchability and knows how to get hitters out. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with good bat speed and a nice swing. Lowe has a good load with present strength in his swing, and the ball jumps off his bat. Lowe can hit and has two-way potential for the next level. He is a must follow, and is a good student as well.
