Chris Bec is a 2014 OF/SS with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends John A. Ferguson HS. Medium build, has some present strength with room for more. 6.69 runner, versatile defensive player. Big arm strength from shortstop, footwork and athleticism work best in the outfield, can pretty much play any position on the field with skill, though. Right handed hitter, quick toe tap trigger, aggressive swing, extends through contact, gets long at times, looks to pull and drive the ball, line drive swing plane, should continue to improve offensively with additional strength. Good student.
