Khaalis King is a 2016 SS/3B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Columbia HS. Compact athletic build, has the beginnings of some present strength. 6.89 runner, has good quick twitch athleticism, moves through the ball well in the infield, has quick hands and feet and shows range, good arm strength with carry, smooth and polished defensive actions in the game and made all the plays. Switch-hitter, similar approaches both sides but more present bat speed right handed. Open crouched stance, rotational swing with some quick hands, will pull off and get long at times but shows the ability to stay behind the ball and drive it to the gaps as well, projects well as a hitter with additional strength.
