Thomas Asbaty is a 2013 C/RHP, OF, 1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Randolph, NJ who attends Randolph. Medium build athlete with present strength and room to fill out and add strength. High base while receiving. Comes out of pop very early. Solid transfer and release, flashed quickness in feet. Quick release, short arm action. Has potential behind the plate. Left handed hitter, aggressive swing with lots of moving parts. Uphill swing path, smooth swing with current pop and more to come as body develops. Slow tempo delivery on mound. Ball comes out clean, short arma ction, very good 11/5 curveball with sharp break. Good student.
