Maverick Handley is a 2016 C/3B with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from Lakewood, CO who attends Mullen HS. Thick chested very strong build, physically mature. Has flexibility and quickness defensively for his size, gets low and presents a good target behind the plate, quick feet and hips with a very quick release on throws, 1.81 best pop and it was game actions, accurate throws, will stop the running game, high level defender. Right handed hitter, good shift into contact, simple swing mechanics and stays short to the ball, shows gap power and will go the opposite way, will get out early on his front side at times and lose bat speed.
